Rylee Sevigny scored two goals as the Mountain Valley Falcons defeated the host Boothbay Region Seahawks, 7-1, at Perkins Field Friday, Aug. 31.
The Falcons scored five goals in the first half before Boothbay (1-1) got its only goal off a penalty corner, which was played out after the clock had expired. Cortney Meader scored on an assist from Chloe Arsenault.
Avery Sevigny, Alana Young, Faith Riddicke, Autumn Fryeman and Are Burgess also scored goals for the 2-0 Falcons, who defeated Lisbon 3-0 in its opening game of the season.
Boothbay is scheduled to host Spruce Mountain on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
