Seahawks dominate Greyhounds
Chloe Arsenault scored all four goals as the Boothbay Region Seahawks field hockey team defeated the visiting Lisbon Greyhounds, 4-1, Monday at Perkins Field.
The win, which improved Boothbay’s record to 3-7, avenged an earlier 4-3 loss to the Greyhounds at Lisbon Sept. 12.
The teams battled for about 18 minutes before Arsenault’s first goal, assisted by Riley Sullivan, made it 1-0 at the 12:18 mark.
Boothbay kept the Greyhounds scoreless in the first half, as Arsenault scored at 2:20 and :54 to give the Seahawks a 3-0 lead after 30 minutes.
Lisbon, now 4-5, scored its goal early in the second half before Cortney Meader found Arsenault in the scoring circle with about 25 minutes to play as the junior took the pass and put it past the Lisbon goalie.
