In response to the presence of community spread in Lincoln County and the rapid surge of cases across Maine, LincolnHealth has expanded its restriction to visitors on the Miles and Boothbay campuses, as well as at the Lincoln Medical Partners practices in Boothbay, Damariscotta, Waldoboro and Wiscasset. There have been no visitors allowed in LincolnHealth’s senior living facilities for some time.

Effective Thursday, Nov. 12, we will be returning to more restrictive visitation policies.

Visitation will not be allowed, with the exception of one visitor or escort, in the following areas and situations:

• Pediatrics
• Obstetrics (labor and delivery; pre-natal ultrasound)
• Day Surgery
• End of Life care (one visitor at a time for patients likely to expire within 24 hours)
• Emergency Department, when the patient is critically ill
• Patient discharge

For any patient with cognitive disability, physical disability, difficulty communicating with caregivers or a lack of mobility
