The Oak Hill Raiders held the visiting Boothbay Region Seahawks to 11 second half points and went on to win the Mountain Valley Conference girls basketball game, 59-36, in Wales Wednesday, Jan. 5.

The Raiders were led by Gabby Chessie with 14 points. Ariana Thibeault added 12 to help Oak Hill improve to 2-3 on the season.

Senior Jaelyn Crocker led the Seahawks with 17 points.

Boothbay (0-5) is next scheduled to host Winthrop on Friday, Jan. 7 at 6 p.m.
