The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team dropped to 0-4 on the season with a 4-1 loss to Madison at home Monday, May 9.
First singles player Cleyton Splaine defeated Jaden Spaulding 6-3, 7-5 (via tiebreaker), for Boothbay’s only match win.
Second singles player Sawyer Blake lost to Isaac Oullette 2-6, 1-6.
Third singles player Neal Baldwin lost to Kayden Hibbard 0-6, 2-6.
First doubles team of Andrew Fowlie and Rodi Mayne lost to Vern Worthen and Marcus Smith 1-6, 2-6.
Second doubles team of Chase Mansfield and Colby Allen lost to Ethan Linkletter and Spencer Richard 2-6, 1-6.
