Boothbay Region High School senior co-captains Sydney Blake and Savannah Compare were recognized for their four years of commitment to the Seahawk field hockey team before their final home game on Monday, Oct. 17.

Seahawk coaches Skyler Davis and Danelle Davis presented a bouquet of flowers to both players who in turn gave the flowers to those representing them at the ceremony.

Sydney, daughter of Tyler and Lynn Blake, plans to attend college for pre-med and hopes to become a plastic surgeon.

Savannah, granddaughter of Kathie Stephenson, plans to study environmental or exercise science in college.
