The Boothbay Region Special Olympians competed at the State Special Olympics swim meet Thursday and Friday, April 27 and 28 at Colby College’s new Olympic-sized pool. The athletes did an exceptional job.

Peter Brewster, Danny Miller, Ronda LeConte and Valerie Giles swam personal bests and swam so strong. To top off the winning and the team’s successes, Vincent Giles was able to celebrate his birthday with all his friends after the meet was completed.
