The Boothbay Region High School girls tennis teamed improved to 5-0 on the season with a 3-2 win at home over the Hall-Dale Bulldogs on Wednesday, May 10.
In first singles, Laura Chapman won 6-0, 6-1 over Silvia Branchini. Hannah Roberts, playing second singles, won 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 over Jenna Lee. And in third singles, Savannah Compare won 6-4, 6-4 over Grace Leach.
Boothbay forfeited both doubles matches.
The Seahawks are scheduled to play at home Thursday, May 11, at 4 p.m. against the Oak Hill Raiders.
