Seven Seahawk seniors honored
Seven Boothbay Region High School senior field hockey players were honored at Perkins Field, BRHS before their final home game on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
Coaches Skyler Davis and assistant Danelle Davis presented flowers to each player, who then gave the flower to those representing them on the sidelines.
The seven seniors were:
Ariel Alamo, daughter of Chat and Aque Alamo, Ariel plans to attend college and major in education.
Avery Barter, daughter of Julie and Stanley Barter, plans to attend college to study business and marketing.
Kari Blake, daughter of Christine Miller and Aaron Blake, plans to major in business and marketing in college.
Charlee Fuchswanz, daughter of Angela Frost and Mike Fuchswanz, plans to attend college to major in nursing.
Sarah Kreft, daughter of Amanda and Michael Kreft and granddaughter of Margie Kreft, plans to study psychology and neuroscience in college.
Natalie Mayotte, daughter of Lynnette and James Mayotte, plans to attend college and study marine sciences.
Meg Sledge, daughter of Jenny and Matt Sledge, plans to attend Maine Maritime Academy and major in marine transportation operations.
Alamo, Barter, Blake, Fuchswanz and Sledge each played four years for the Seahawks. Kreft played two years and Mayotte played one year on the team.
