Two-long serving Boothbay selectmen’s seats expire in May, and incumbents Steve Lewis and Dale Harmon said they are still considering whether to seek re-election. This is Lewis’ fifth term and Harmon’s sixth. Nomination papers for all expiring municipal terms became available Jan. 26. 

Candidates need to return nomination papers with at least 25 registered voters' signatures by March 7. Other expiring municipal terms are Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Cemetery District Trustee Kim Pinkham, Community School District Superintending Committee John Bertolet, Boothbay Region Water District Trustee Nell Tharpe, and CSD Trustee Troy Lewis. 

Bertolet said is undecided about seeking another three-year term. He has served 25 years on the superintending committee.

The municipal election and referendum town meeting is held on Monday, May 6 in the municipal building.
