The Boothbay Planning Board conditionally approved one application April 17 to repair shoreline with riprap. Steve Roberge of SJR Engineering in Augusta represented the Jennifer W. Teschner Trust of Toledo, Ohio which sought approval for its property on East Tibbetts Road. The property is zoned in a coastal residential and shoreland overlay district. The applicant is required to provide an Army Corps of Engineers permit and merge two lots into one on a recorded deed.

In other action, the board participated in a pre-application discussion with Lisa Burnham. She is considering establishing a campground on her property on Butler Road. Burnham may seek a change of use for the property.
