Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 4 arrests

    The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 462 calls for service for the period of July 16 to July 23. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 7,803 calls for service.

    Summonses

    Chad Burns, 35, of Waldoboro was issued a summons July 18 for Attaching False Plates, on Gardiner Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.

    Sarah Williams, 30, of Nobleboro was issued summonses July 21 for Driving to Endanger and Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Augusta Road, Jefferson, by Deputy Nathan Yeaton.

    Henry D. Thompson III, 38, of South Bristol was issued summonses July 22 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – prior and Violating Condition of Release, on Augusta Road, Jefferson, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

    Jason L. Hewett, 39, of Gardiner was issued summonses July 22 for Operating after Habitual Offender Revocation-prior and Driving to Endanger, at Knox County Jail, Rockland, by Detective Jared Mitkus, for an incident that occurred in Whitefield.

    Arrests

    Robert G. Conlin, 64, of Wiscasset was arrested July 17 for Violation of a Protection Order, on Cross Point Road, Edgecomb, by Sgt. Scott Hayden.

    Jacob Weymouth, 22, of Windsor was arrested July 17 on a Kennebec County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Misuse of 9-1-1 charge, on Mills Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.

    Jesse Clement, 40, of Waterville was arrested July 19 on a Penobscot County warrant for Failure to Appear on a Trafficking charge, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Nathaniel Aronson.

    Peter W. Witwicki, 64, of Bristol was arrested July 22 on a Cumberland County warrant for Failure to Appear, on Manktown Road, Waldoboro, by Detective Jared Mitkus.

    Accidents

    On July 16, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving David A. Svens, 77, of Chamberlain. Mr. Svens was operating his 2013 Honda Civic northbound when a deer ran from the right side of the road, into the roadway, where it was struck, causing damage to the front driver’s side corner, as well as the rest of the driver’s side of his vehicle. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.

    On July 17, an accident occurred on Rockland Road in Jefferson involving Brandon A. Jones, 30, of Washington. Mr. Jones was operating his 2007 Honda Civic westbound when a deer crossed the roadway and was struck, causing damage to the front driver’s corner and headlight. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.

    On July 18, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Tatiana Sementiuk, 50, of Alexandria, Virginia. Ms. Sementiuk was operating her 2022 Toyota RAV4 northbound when a deer ran in front of her and was struck with the driver’s side of her vehicle. Deputy Ethan Burns was the investigating officer.

    On July 19, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving William L. Bracher, 27, of Hope. Mr. Bracher was operating his 2012 Toyota RAV4 southbound when he observed a deer enter the roadway and strike his vehicle. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
