Anyone with a One Design sailboat was invited to sail in a family scavenger hunt August 10.

Seven boats with nine adults and 15 children, some boats with children aboard and some without, found four tetrahedeons set out around the harbor.

Taped onto each buoy was a bag containing coupons, one coupon for each person in a boat.

After the sail, everyone was invited to an ice cream social, which took place at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club. Prizes of certificates for ice cream sundaes and popcorn were given out in exchange for the winning coupons.

It was a big success and everyone, including a four-month old baby who sailed, had a great time.
