Seahawks win 30-6
Two touchdowns in the second half and a stifling defense gave the Seahawks their first win of the season Friday night, 30-6, over Sacopee Valley at Hiram.
After Sacopee Valley scored a touchdown on a 76-yard drive on its first possession of the second half, Boothbay increased its half-time lead of 18-0 to 24-6 when Killian Miller ran in a Sacopee fumble from 12 yards out early in the fourth quarter. Later in the fourth, Julian Aponte scored his second touchdown of the game on a seven-yard run to provide the final scoring on the night.
Boothbay will host Telstar on Friday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m. on Sherman Field.
