The undefeated Winthrop-Monmouth wagon rolled into town on October 18 and rolled out with a 48-8 Class D football victory over the Boothbay Region High School Seahawks, who slipped to 3-4 with the loss.

The Ramblers (7-0) got on the board early in the first quarter as they concluded a 10-play drive with an 11-yard touchdown pass from Jared Hansen to Mario Meucci.

After the Seahawks turned the ball over on an interception, the visitors went right back to work, scoring on a five-yard run by Zachary Glacier.

The one highlight for the Seahawks was an 83-yard touchdown run by Jason Maddocks midway through the second quarter.

The Seahawks wrap up the regular season on Friday, Oct. 25 when they host the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls.
