Losses to Bulldogs and Ramblers
The losing streak continues for the Lady Seahawks field hockey team as it dropped to 1-6 this season with losses to the Hall-Dale Bulldogs and Winthrop Ramblers this week.
On Friday, Boothbay lost at Winthrop, 5-1. Emmah Spahr and Rachel Ingram each scored two goals for the Ramblers (6-1). Boothbay goalie Meghan Oakes had 14 saves.
At Perkins Field on September 13, Hall-Dale defeated the Lady Seahawks, 4-2. Shanay Gilbert scored three goals and Nicole Pelletier added one as the visiting Bulldogs won their first game of the season. Sarah Caron and Nicole Lebrecque scored Boothbay's goals.
