The 2014 season of the Junior sailing, tennis and golf programs is now up and running at the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club.

Under the direction of Capt. Sally Lloyd, sailors are now using the new fleet of 420 racing sailboats as well as the traditional Turnabouts and Opti sailboats. This year for the first time the program Is operating out of the McKown house which has direct dock connection to the Junior waterfront.

Across the road at the tennis courts, tennis pro Larry Rioux directs the junior tennis activities including the highly popular quick start program for young beginners.

Golf activities will begin the last week of the month.

Enrollment in the program for mornings or afternoons or both is open to all youngsters of the region, residents or not, members or not, and information can be secured by calling 207-633-5750. An extensive scholarship program is offered through the courtesy of the Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club Junior Foundation, which is supported by members and friends.
