Seahawk Tony Hammond to play in Lobster Bowl
Tony Hammond graduated from Boothbay Region High School this past spring and has been chosen to represent the West in the 2014 Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic charity football game in Biddeford this coming Saturday, July 19.
Tony, 18, has played defense for BRHS for four years and will continue to play football for Maine Maritime Academy in Castine this fall. Tony lives in Edgecomb with his grandparents, Paul and Janet Hammond, and brother, Jacob, a sophomore who also plays football for BRHS.
Tony raised over $600 for the Lobster Bowl and he is at Hebron Academy preparing for the game. You can find out more about the Lobster Bowl on the Shriners site.
The 25th Annual Lobster Bowl Classic will be streamed live on WCSH6.com and WLBZ2.com and can also be seen on Time Warner Cable 1245 Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
