The fall sports season at Boothbay Region High School began Monday, Aug. 18, with preseason practices.

Fans can get a sneak peak at two of the teams, football and field hockey, at home scrimmages on Monday, Aug. 25.

The football team will scrimmage Freeport on Sherman Field at 4 p.m. and the field hockey team will scrimmage Orono at Perkins Field at 5:30 p.m.

The 2014 BRHS fall sports schedule, including cross-country and girls soccer, will be published online later this week and in the August 28 issue.
