The Boothbay Region High School boys basketball team improved to 9-0 after an 82-28 victory over St. Dominic Academy (2-6) Wednesday, Jan. 7 in a make-up game at BRHS. The game had been postponed on Jan. 3 due to a snowstorm.

The Seahawks are scheduled to travel to Dixfield on Friday, Jan. 9 where the Cougars (7-2) will try to avenge its season-opening loss to Boothbay, 72-66. Boothbay is ranked number one in Western Maine Class C while Dirigo is ranked fifth.

The Seahawks will host sixth-ranked Monmouth on January 13 and will trying to knock second-seeded Winthrop from the unbeaten ranks in Winthrop on January 15.
