Seahawks boys tennis team finishes 11-1
The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team soundly defeated the visiting Carrabec Cobras (3-8) Wednesday afternoon, May 20, 5-0, in matches and on Tuesday, May 26, the Seahawks defeated St. Dom's at home, 4-1, to finish the regular season at 11-1.
Boothbay is still second in the Heal point standings behind the undefeated Hall-Dale Bulldogs (11-0) and ahead of third-place Waynflete (9-1) and fourth place St. Dom's.
Maine high school tennis playoffs will begin June 2 with prelims and the quarterfinal round will begin June 4.
