Newcastle residents join ‘The Music Man’

Andrew Lyndaker and Jonah Daiute, both of Newcastle, will perform in Maine State Music Theatre’s “The Music Man,” from July 15 to Aug. 1.
Lyndaker will portray Winthrop Paroo and Daiute will be a part of the young ensemble in the summer production.
The show follows fast-talking traveling salesman Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize — despite the fact he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef! His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian.
