Seahawks lose to Oak Hill, Wiscasset
It was a rough regular season ending for the Boothbay Region High School varsity soccer team, losing 4-1 at Oak Hill on Oct. 15 and 1-0 at Wiscasset on Oct. 19.
“We played a bit better but still lost,” said Coach Ben Powell of Oak Hill game. Reagan Cola scored Boothbay’s goal.
Against Wiscasset, Powell said, “We played well, but lost a heart-breaker despite dominating the whole second half. Just couldn't get a goal.”
The team ended its regular season with a record of 3-10-1.
The team will face Waynflete in the Class C playoff in Portland on Friday, Oct. 23.
