“The Martian” When astronauts blast off from the planet Mars, they leave behind Mark Watney (Matt Damon), presumed dead after a fierce storm. With only a meager amount of supplies, the stranded visitor must utilize his wits and spirit to find a way to survive on the hostile planet.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, members of NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring him home, while his crew mates hatch their own plan for a daring rescue mission.

The film plays at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 and Thursday, Nov. 19.

“Spectre” Agent 007 is back! A cryptic message from the past leads James Bond (Daniel Craig) to Mexico City and Rome, where he meets the beautiful widow (Monica Bellucci) of an infamous criminal.

After infiltrating a secret meeting, 007 uncovers the existence of the sinister organization SPECTRE. Needing the help of the daughter of an old nemesis, he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of SPECTRE, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy (Christoph Waltz) he seeks.

“Spectre” plays at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20 through Sunday, Nov. 22; additional 2 p.m. screening on Sunday.

Based on the classic animated film, this fur-raising adventure features Cruella De Vil and an adorable cast of our favorite pups. With a high-spirited score and lovable characters, this show is simply a delight. Shows are at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19 and Friday, Nov. 20.

“Truth” Newsroom drama detailing the 2004 CBS 60 Minutes report investigating then-President George W. Bush's military service, and the subsequent firestorm of criticism that cost anchor Dan Rather and producer Mary Mapes their careers. Starring Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett. Playing Friday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m. ( note early start time) and 7 p,m., Saturday, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 22 at 3 and 7 p.m.

The Met Live in HD: Berg’s “Lulu”   Acclaimed artist and director William Kentridge (The Nose) applies his unique theatrical vision to Berg’s notorious femme fatale who shatters lives, including her own. Musically, the masterful score is in the sure hands of Met Music Director James Levine. Soprano Marlis Petersen sings tour-de-force title role, a wild journey of love, obsession, and death.
