Senior Abel Bryer led all scorers with 21 points Friday night as the Boothbay Region Seahawks varsity boys basketball team edged the Madison Bulldogs in Madison, 57-54.

With the win, Boothbay improved its record to 2-2, while Madison dropped to 3-1.

Carter Babcock added 11 points and Jacob Leonard had nine for Boothbay.

Chris Beaman led the Bulldogs with 16 points.

Boothbay will host Telstar on Monday at 7 p.m.
