Audition for ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’
Auditions for “Jesus Christ Superstar,” to be presented by the Midcoast Youth Theater, is open to people of all ages!
Auditions will be held at the Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church in Topsham on Friday, Jan. 8 and Saturday, Jan. 9. Audition times: Jan. 8 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 9 at 1 or 6 p.m. The performances, at the Orion Theater in Topsham. will be staged March 31, April 1-2, 8-9 at 7 p.m. plus two matinees on April 3 and 10 at 3 p.m. About Auditions: Everyone will warm-up together, sing together, and do some easy movement together. Anyone interested in a solo singing role will be given an opportunity to sing solo. Come prepared with a song, and music for our music director if you want piano accompaniment and your song is not from the show. Rehearsals will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6-9 p.m. and Saturday 1-4 p.m. Not all roles will need to be at all rehearsals. We try to limit evening hours for young children.
