Boothbay shuts out Carrabec in C quarterfinal
The Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team, ranked first in South C, shut out the eighth-seeded Carrabec Cobras, 5-0, in the quarterfinal round of the state tournament on Thursday, June 2 at BRHS.
The Seahawks victory was the third win and shutout of Carrabec in the last month, with Boothbay having beaten the Cobras twice in the regular season.
Boothbay is scheduled to play the winner of Madison/Waynflete on Saturday.
