The Great Hike: Back and better than ever!
Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) is again hosting The Great Hike at Oven’s Mouth East Preserve Saturday, September 17 from 11-3pm, as part of The Great Maine Outdoor Weekend. Each year, participation grows as people of all ages join this great family-friendly event that brings Land Trust members and the community together on one of BRLT’s most beautiful preserves.
This year, food will be provided by Family Thyme Catering. We will also welcome back The Spaceheaters for our live music entertainment, and beer provider, D.L. Geary’s Brewing Co., who generously offer a refreshing way to end your hike.
The hike of Ovens Mouth will once again include multiple routes to accommodate all hiker abilities, as well as a fun, natural scavenger hunt that will challenge participants of all ages. Do you love music, food, beer and beautiful water views, but don’t feel like hiking? Then please join us for the festivities and skip the hike. This event is a great fit for everyone!
Tickets will be available through brownpapertickets.com, or you may pick them up in the BRLT office. Prices are $15/adult, $5/for ages 6-17, and children under 5 are free.
