BRHS cheerleaders advance to state competition

The Boothbay Region High School cheerleading team competed at the Regional Competition at the Augusta Civic Center Jan. 28 and qualified to move on to the state competition Feb. 11. This is the second year in a row that the cheerleaders have advanced to the state level.
The state competition will be held at the Augusta Civic Center. The national anthem is at 1:55 p.m., competition round begins at 2 p.m. and awards are at 4:30.
"We hope to see everyone there to support and cheer on our Seahawk cheerleaders," said BRHS coach Elizabeth Tilton via email.
