The top-seeded Boothbay Region High School boys tennis team defeated the visiting and 8th-ranked Winthrop Ramblers, 3-2, in a Class C South quarterfinal match on Thursday, June 1.

Boothbay, now 10-1, will host fourth-seeded Hall-Dale (8-3) on Saturday, June 3 – time to be determined. The Seahawks defeated the Bulldogs, 3-2, in Farmingdale in early May.

St. Dominic and Waynflete are the other two semifinalists in the tournament.
