Boothbay shuts out Lisbon, 6-0
The Boothbay Region High School field hockey team (4-1) recorded its second straight 6-0 shutout, defeating the host Lisbon Greyhounds on Wednesday, Sept. 13. On Monday, the Seahawks defeated Dirigo in Dixfield, 6-0.
“The team played a great second half today scoring five goals,” said BRHS Coach Donna Jordan via email. “Chloe Arsenault had her best game of the season as she used her stick skills and speed moving the ball down the field. Sydney Meader scored four goals with assists from Arsenault, Page Brown and Riley Sullivan. Chloe scored one goal unassisted and Sydney Mercier scored with an assist from Page Brown.”
BRHS goalie Emily Amaral had six saves in the game.
Boothbay will host Oak Hill (4-2) on Friday, Sept. 15 at 4 p.m. on Perkins Field.
