Get set, Get Eddy! A view across The Eddy portion of the Sheepsot River reveals the Eddy Marina on Eddy Road in Edgecomb flanked by homes and cottages. An eddy is caused by water that runs opposite to a main current, resulting in a small whirlpool. GARY DOW/Wiscasset Newspaper

The courtyard that leads to the entrance of Butterstamp Workshop at 55 Middle Street in Wiscasset is certainly eclectic, to say the least. The shop is located in the rear of an 18th century home and is made up of two workshops and a showroom. The shop’s specialty is making folk art from antique chocolate and butter molds.
