Warm Spaces lunch start postponed
The Monday community lunch program, Warm Spaces, at Our Lady Queen of Peace, will not be starting as usual this October. Due to COVID-19 and the very serious health restrictions to keep everyone safe, we will have to re-evaluate the situation in January.
We will miss each of our neighbors and friends who regularly attend. Stay healthy, keep safe, and wear a mask until we can be together again.

Technical issues deter Maine CDC from releasing detailed Oct. 2 COVID-19 update
AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has scrapped plans for a full detailed release of COVID-19 data for Oct. 2 due to technical issues.
“Ongoing technical problems will prevent Maine CDC from updating case information today, October 2, 2020,” the Maine CDC posted to its website around 3:15 p.m.
The organization did release limited data for Oct. 2, however:

AUGUSTA — The Maine CDC has announced, Oct. 1, an additional COVID-19 death in the state, bringing the state’s COVID-19 death toll to 142.
