Mamma Mia Holiday Weekend Sing-along at The Waldo!

Wrap up your July 4 th holiday weekend by making some fireworks of your own with a high-energy, sing-yourself-silly Mamma Mia sing-along at 4pm on Sunday, July 7, 2024.

Join your neighbors, family and friends while we swing, sway and sing-along to the familiar and unforgettable Abba hits in this movie classic—including Dancing Queen, Super Trooper, The Winner Takes All, Take a Chance on Me, and many, many more. Immerse yourself in the enchanting Greek Isles by experiencing Mamma Mia on the big screen with all the beautiful music tracks from The Waldo’s theatrical sound system. There will be lyric captions on screen in case you’ve forgotten some of the words. You may have seen it on TV, but you probably haven’t experienced Mamma Mia like this!

Go all in by dressing in Greek Isles costume or like one your favorite characters; Sophie, one of the possible dads, or a member of Donna and The Dynamos. There will be fun prizes for best adult and child (under 12) costumes, door prize raffles, and your host for the event, the fabulously talented Chloe Chalakani will lead you through a vocal warmup, share some Mamma Mia trivia, and teach us all a few Abba-esque dance moves.

For those of you unfamiliar with the plot, here’s a snippet from Rotten Tomatoes: Donna (Meryl Streep), an independent hotelier in the Greek islands, is preparing for her daughter's wedding with the help of two old friends. Meanwhile Sophie, the spirited bride, has a plan. She secretly invites three men from her mother's past in hope of meeting her real father and having him escort her down the aisle on her big day.
