Boothbay Region Historical Society is well on its way to fulfilling the ambitious goal of making the collections available online to a world-wide audience. Volunteers are working to record everything in the museum – documents, photographs, artifacts – in digital form.

If you love local history, and have two hours a week, the Boothbay Region Historical Society could use additional volunteers to join this digitization crew. Volunteers for this exciting project will be trained at the Boothbay Region Historical Society and all scanning will be done there.
