Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: 4 arrests

    The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 377 calls for service for the period of Sept. 10 to Sept. 17. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 11,259 calls for service.

    Summonses

    Anthony J. Pallis, 65, of Dresden was issued a summons Sept. 10 for Criminal Trespass, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Deputy Justin Drake.

    Joshua Wright, 22, of Edgecomb was issued a summons Sept. 11 for Operating under the Influence, on Englebrekt Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.

    Louis R. Gallegos III, 50, of Jefferson was issued a summons Sept. 12 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – prior, on Grand Army Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Jeffrey Rogers.

    Lawrence H. Eckert, 51, of Wiscasset was issued a summons Sept. 16 for Terrorizing, on Lothrop Road, Alna, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

    Arrests

    Scott A. Hanna, 22, of Alna was arrested Sept. 10 for Domestic Violence Assault; Criminal Mischief and Violating Condition of Release, on Cross Road, Alna, by Deputy Ethan Burns.

    Billy W. Curtis, 35, of Bremen was arrested Sept. 11 for Violating Condition of Release, on Waldoboro Road, Bremen, by Detective Jared Mitkus.

    Rachel L. Smolenova, 28, of Cushing was arrested Sept. 11 for Operating under the Influence, on Bath Road, Wiscasset, by Deputy Kasey Doyle.

    Kelly P. Farrin, 41, of Boothbay was arrested Sept. 13 for Burglary; Aggravated Criminal Trespass; Assault and Criminal Threatening, on Ocean Point Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Joseph Booth, who was assisted by Sgt. Scott Hayden

    Accidents

    On Sept. 11, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Erin L. Bailey, 48, of Westport Island. Ms. Bailey was operating her 2016 Toyota Tacoma southbound when she struck a deer in the roadway. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.

    On Sept. 11, an accident occurred on Englebrekt Road in Edgecomb involving Joshua Wright, 22, of Edgecomb. Mr. Wright was operating his 2011 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when he ran off the roadway on the left, went down the embankment and struck a tree, before he over-corrected and ended up back on the roadway. Deputy Kasey Doyle was the investigating officer.

    On Sept. 12, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Zofie J. Day, 17, of Nobleboro and Scarlett R. O’Brien, 17, of Boothbay Harbor. Ms. O’Brien was stopped on the on-ramp from Mills Road to US Route in her 2008 Toyota Tundra, waiting for traffic to pass. Ms. Day was operating her 2006 Volvo 40 behind O’Brien’s vehicle. Day stated she saw a vehicle pass on US Route 1, causing an opening and started to accelerate without first checking that O’Brien had started moving. As a result, Day struck O’Brien’s vehicle in the bumper area causing minor damage to the O’Brien vehicle and functional damage to the Day vehicle. Deputy Nathaniel Aronson was the investigating officer.
