Come to the Southport Town Hall at 7 p.m. when internationally recognized maritime artist and Southport resident Ed Parker will give a talk on the inspiration, process, and storytelling involved in the creation of his whimsical and often humorous paintings. Parker has generously donated two prints of his artwork for the Friends of Southport Historical Society to use for fundraising; plans are in the works to offer them in a silent auction during this event. 361 Hendricks Hill Road.
