Bangor Savings awarded the Boothbay Region YMCA with a generous donation of $7,500 to aid in the extensive improvements planned for McEvoy Lodge at Camp Knickerbocker, a facility integral to helping area youth grow, learn, and thrive.
Because of the Y’s current “Challenge for our Next Generation” fundraiser, the donation amount will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
“We couldn’t be more grateful for the support of Bangor Savings Bank,” said Andy Hamblett, CEO of the Y. “And not just for how their donation will benefit local kids and families, but for all the community organizations Bangor Savings Bank supports in our collective efforts to keep Maine a vibrant, healthy place to live, work and grow.”
