June 25, day three of Windjammer Days, had dozens of children creating various objects at Whale Park between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Windjammer Days is a festival held every year to commemorate the enormous sailing ship known as the “windjammer.” This year, it takes place from June 23 to July 1, providing all ancient boat lovers with a fun way to begin their summer. Windjammer Days events cover a spectrum from tours to activities, an antique boat parade and a street parade.
