First National Bank donates $20,000 to Tedford Housing
First National Bank recently announced a $20,000 contribution to Tedford Housing toward their Capital Campaign to build new emergency housing for adults and families experiencing homelessness.
Since 1987, Tedford Housing, a nonprofit based in Brunswick, has provided emergency housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, permanent supportive housing for previously homeless families and individuals, and homelessness prevention services. They primarily serve Lincoln, Sagadahoc and northern Cumberland counties.
Tedford Housing will build new emergency housing in Brunswick, on Thomas Point Road near Cook’s Corner. On just over three acres, the new building will increase shelter capacity by 60% and further support case management and community resources.
“We’re proud to support Tedford Housing and their commitment to support families in Lincoln County and beyond,” said Susan Norton, Chief Administrative Officer of First National Bank.
