Boothbay Winter Festival moves to Common

Fri, 10/01/2021 - 2:00pm

Food Trucks A-Go and C C Snack Co. are pleased to announce the annual Boothbay Winter Festival will take place this winter on the Boothbay Common, and we’re inviting everyone to participate! Join us during the most festive time of year as we bring the Common to life with tens of thousands of twinkling lights, delicious cuisine from local food trucks, a German-style holiday market, and so much more.

And in true community spirit, the Boothbay Winter Festival is calling on all local businesses, artisans and non-profits to get involved. Join us as a Christmas Market vendor, food vendor, performer, volunteer — or in another creative capacity.

This is a fantastic opportunity to promote our region, extend our business season, and have fun. So if you have a vision but need help executing it, or have an established business and want to grow, please reach out and let us know. Our goal is to help as many entrepreneurial-minded people as possible get involved, and we have room for approximately 30 craft or retail vendors and non-profits, and up to 10 food vendors.

The Festival will run Thursday to Sunday, from Nov. 19  to Dec. 19 we will also open Nov. 24 and daily from Dec. 26 to Jan. 1, excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. Food vendors will be open 27 days, start to finish. The  market will open for 16 days during the festival Nov. 26 to Dec. 23.

We want to create a diverse group of vendors that truly represent our community and region. As time is already running short, we need to hear from everyone who is interested ASAP, with all inquiries in by Oct. 8 Our goal is to fill all the slots with local and regional business and non-profits. If that’s not possible, we will open up to the wider Maine community.

Last year we tripled our visitors to Food Trucks A-Go, and this year expect 35,000-40,000 visitors to the Common. Please get involved if you can — we want you.

Vendor applications will be considered in the order they are received. Please contact Lester Spear with any questions and for next steps: 207-838-3381.
