On Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wiscasset Common will be overflowing with music, food, and an array of tables featuring handcrafted items, treasures, books, baked goods, and jewelry as well as the ever-popular yard sale. The silent auction this year will include an L.L. Bean quilted “sunbrella” hammock with pillow and hammock stand, as well as a 7 x 9 braided rug.

Bring your pets for the dog parade which begins at 10 a.m.

Music will be provided by Joel Pierce, First Congo’s organist, and the band, Always, Sometimes.  

Hamburgers, hot dogs and pulled pork sandwiches are on the menu and there will be a cash bar.  

Proceeds from Summerfest are distributed to local non-profit organizations.
