A word from our Barn manager & creative director, Annie: “I could not have asked for a better night to celebrate our local artists! Friday night with you all was such a dream. This event is my favorite of the season because we get the opportunity to dive deeper into the unique paths that artists are on. From concepts to processes and the hiccups we all encounter along the way; each artist shared inspiring stories of how to live a creative life. My mission for the Barn is to both support local artists and small businesses, and also to break down barriers so that we can all live creatively and authentically express ourselves.

Thank you Eliza Goodwin, Emily Armstrong, Vince Spadafora and Grant Auber for taking the time to share your work with us!

Special shoutout to Emily Armstrong for being the first Maine resident in almost 25 years to be awarded the Salad Days residency at Watershed Center for the Ceramic Arts! Please follow along with her work as she begins the enormous task of making 500 plates for their annual fundraiser. This is a phenomenal achievement and we could not be more thrilled for her!!! Looking forward to seeing to seeing what she creates.”
