Villard Studios is broadcasting a local silent auction fundraiser, which includes a unique Villard Studios donation- 24 handmade sentiment cards. Silent Auction bidding began Aug. 2 and will continue through Aug. 9. One hundred percent of the funds raised go to: https://www.veggiestotable.org. Veggies to Table is the result of a dream and idea based on the unfortunate reality of hunger prevalent in Maine today and wanting to provide all local folks access to food justice. This event hosts many French/American themed items to bid on, enjoy the list!
We are bringing your attention to our item (plus all the other items) because we know you are familiar with our woodblock prints and may even collect our work. We thank you for your support over the years and feel these 24 handmade gatefold unique cards can spread the word about the whiteline technique, our studio and this legitimate cause (each card includes minimal text printed on the covers to links).
We imagine them as individual mailable gifts that the winning bidder can launch when an extra-special sentiment is desired. There are two collections of 12 (one of Maine images and one of French images). If yours is the winning bid you will have 24 handmade gifts to send along with a hand written sentiment, at a moment's notice.
